How it works
One loop, seen from both sides.
A school decides what great teaching means and invites its teachers; each teacher assesses in their own time; reports, gaps, plans and role fit generate automatically. Here's each journey, step by step.
For schools
How a school runs the assessment.
From deciding what great teaching means to matched roles and tracked growth — leadership sets it up, the platform runs it, no marking in the loop.
- 01
Choose what great teaching means
Start from the framework — planning, instruction, assessment, classroom climate, collaboration — and select what matters for each class band and subject. No rubric-writing: the library is research-backed, and you can also just describe a role and let the system recommend the competencies to measure.
- 02
Buy credits, compose the battery
Credits are prepaid and priced per module (1.8 for the behavioural lens down to 0.25 for a self-report — 3.30 for a full five-lens battery). The system suggests a battery for the competencies you chose, or you compose one straight from the assessment banks; either way the estimated cost is shown before you commit.
- 03
Invite your teachers
Invite the whole faculty or a cohort. Every teacher receives a private, resumable link — no logins to manage. Credits are reserved when an invite is sent and consumed only on completion; cancelled or expired invites refund exactly what was reserved. Leadership watches completion tracking live.
- 04
Reports & analytics land automatically
Nothing to grade. On each submission the platform scores all five lenses, runs a gap analysis against your competencies and generates a printable report with a personalised development plan. School-level analytics roll up anonymised strengths and training needs across the faculty.
- 05
Match roles, track growth
Use the fit ratings to inform deployment, succession and development conversations — every profile is scored against teaching roles out of 1000. Re-assess after a term and the platform shows the movement, so development has a measurable before and after.
For teachers
How a teacher takes the assessment.
Open a link, answer five short modules at your own pace, and get a plain-language report and a live fit dashboard the moment you submit.
- 01
Open your link — or start free
If your school invited you, your private link opens straight into the assessment. If not, any teacher can start one full assessment free from the website. Either way it runs in the browser on any device — nothing to install, nothing to pay.
- 02
A quick intake
A short intake — your subject, the class band you teach and the role you're aspiring to. This tailors which questions you see and frames your report around the growth that matters to you.
- 03
Five short modules, at your pace
Five lenses, each short and plainly worded: how you naturally work, what you know in your subject, how you'd handle real classroom situations, your practical skills, and how you see your own practice. Pause and resume any time — your answers save automatically.
- 04
Submit — everything generates at once
The moment you submit, scoring, gap analysis, development plan and role matching all run together. There's no marker in the loop and no waiting room — your report is ready in moments.
- 05
Your report & My-fit dashboard
You get a printable, jargon-free report — strengths, how your style works day to day, a four-quarter development plan and your role fit. Your My-fit dashboard stays live: a rating out of 1000, a competency snapshot, and a role explorer to test how you'd fit other roles.
Where the two meet
The hand-off, side by side.
Each school action hands cleanly to a teacher one — and everything downstream is automatic.
